About Our Church

Christ Only Community held their first communion service on May 1, 2016.  Ministers Charles and Tiiloni Beavers did not have a specific goal other than obeying the voice of God.  From that first service, God moved on them to continue having services two times per month. Acts 2:38-47 became the founding verses of the community with a focus on the 3 C’s- Committed, Consistent, and Contributing.  Communion, fellowship, koinonia are the hallmarks of the Community.  We believe that what we saw happen in the early church after the initial outpouring of the Holy Spirit is an example to be modeled.  It is the state of openness to whatever the Holy Spirit does that fosters true fellowship and an atmosphere of miracles.

 Over the past seven years Christ Only or COC as it is affectionately known, seeks to move beyond the typical walls of the church. Our community is made up of believers that belong to Christ whether they attend our services regularly or not.  Our goal is to make Christ known through every area of our lives, individually and collectively.

 

As the Apostle John stated in 1 John 1 verse 3, “that which we have seen and heard we proclaim to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed, our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.”  With Christ as our focus, we believe that fellowship among believers is essential and evangelistic.
